Poor Richards Artists will be displaying in the
Zephyr Blevins Gallery during the 2008 RLT season.
Tania Knudsen

Born and raised in Bentonville, Arkansas Tania
uses her art to promote the state of Arkansas.

She is currently working on a series that will
include landmarks from the entire state This
series is painted in a fun whimisical style and
titled with positive life statements.

Tania is a graduate from the University of
Arkansa and has several award winning
paintings. Her work is in many private and
corporate collections. Tania's new paintings
are part of her show at Julie Wait Design
Galleries this month.

The "Smokehouse Trail Painters" will be showing at Zephyr Blevins Gallery Aug. 11th-Sept 18th.
Meet the artists during the Third Friday Twilight Walk in Historic Downtown Rogers, August 15th
4-8p.m.
The painters are a group of artists who have class together weekly at the home of Cheri
Wollenberg, local artist and instructor. As individual artists int the group each paints
representaional subject matter and works in a tradional style.
Members include:
Bette Nall,Jennifer Elms,Arlene Maddox, Kathryn Logue,Brenda Laney, and Ruby Pope.

Event Details: "Three decades of teaching children's art have inspired my paintings. My use of
improbable subjects, bright colors, thick paint and energetic strokes are an influence of my young
students." Jan explains. Her oil on canvas paintings are often painted alla prima in an impasto
style, often taking up to a year to completely dry.
An artist's reception will be held Friday Sept. 19th during Historic Downtown Roger's Twilight Walk
4:00 to 8:00p.m.
