Sabrina Long

Sabrina Long of Painted Orchid Design believes that Mother Nature is the greatest artist of us all.

Sabrina was born and raised in DeQueen, AR.  In 1998 she moved Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas to major in Art.

While Sabrina dabbles in various medians of art including photography, watercolor and clay; jewelry design is the one she visits most frequently.

Sabrina works primarily with semi-precious gemstones. She feels that nature’s beauty can be showcased as adornment for those who love nature. Sabrina believes that keeping the pieces simple lets nature’s handiwork shine through. She finds inspiration from the stones themselves and allows the variegations and hues within the stone dictate the final completion of the piece.
